Partners
Dave is our Chief Executive Officer and has been a CPA since 2004, bringing over 20 years of experience in public accounting and business ownership across multiple industries. His diverse experience gives him a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities small business owners face. He is an accountancy graduate of Central Washington University.
As a partner and leader of the firm, Dave is focused on driving the growth of the company, developing the team, and helping clients build businesses that align with their goals. He is known for his ability to listen closely, think strategically, and partner with business owners to develop practical, forward-looking plans. His experience building and scaling businesses allows him to guide clients with real-world insight and a strong advisory perspective.
What does he love most about his job?

As a business owner myself, I recognize and appreciate what motivates people to go out on their own and what it takes to embrace a non-traditional path. When Dave is not at work...
You'll find him spending quality time with his children, golfing, playing tennis or cheering on the Mariners or Seahawks from the stands. He also enjoys travel and the guilty pleasure of reality TV. If you watch Yellowstone, you may have seen him on screen as he once played a cowboy as an extra.

With over 25 years in business and personal income tax, Dan has built his career around one core belief: good tax work is about more than filing returns. Ernie is a Partner and our Chief Advisory Officer, bringing more than 30 years of experience in public accounting. Throughout his career, he has focused on helping business owners unlock what is possible through proactive tax planning and strategic business advisory. His work centers on giving clients the clarity and confidence to grow, build wealth, and ultimately exit successfully.
As the firm’s chief strategist, principal advisor, and FP&A leader, he is deeply passionate about helping clients achieve their long-term goals - but what drives him most is his team. He views them as the finest group of individuals he has known and is continually inspired by their energy, creativity, and commitment to helping clients exceed expectations.
Ernie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Baruch College, City University of New York, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
What does he love most about his job?

When Ernie's not at work...
You'll find him spending time with his wife, sons, family, and friends, who are his top priority. He is passionate about teaching his boys the value of strong relationships, encouraging them to listen more and speak less. He enjoys mountain biking off trail at night, hiking, skiing and golf. He may also be the only person you'll meet who has appeared on the David Letterman Show twice.

Lera joined the company 2020. She is our Chief Operating Officer and a partner in the firm. At the core of Lera's work is a simple belief: everyone deserves to get the most out of their resources. That philosophy has driven her passion for building a highly scalable firm that unlocks stronger results for clients while creating meaningful growth opportunities for her team. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Supply Chain Management from Central Washington University.
Lera began her career at a traditional accounting firm in 2014, but quickly found her calling to push for change and modernization in our industry. Knowing this cannot be done alone, Lera values partners-in-spirit who share those same beliefs. She intentionally builds relationships with other industry leaders to create a powerful ecosystem of expertise, technology, and opportunity for both her clients and her team.
Her signature may as well be “what’s next?” as she excels at turning challenges into organized momentum. Lera is deeply focused on creating systems that align people, process, and technology to deliver a consistent A+ experience for clients, team members, and owners at scale.

Jim has been working in public accounting for over 20 years focusing on helping business owners maximize their profits while saving on taxes. After working with several Dentists over the years he realized that working with them resulted in some great relationships. He has also learned much to help them leverage their practices to reach their financial goals.
Jim enjoys running marathons and racing in triathlons. He has been a mere 12 seconds away from running the Boston Marathon and has completed a handful of IronMan triathlons. While he still enjoys his endurance sports, he spends downtime with his wife, Lauren, and son, Wyatt, who was born in 2019.
Operations
Autumn is our Operations Manager, bringing 16+ years of Executive Assistant and Office Manager expertise to our Client Experience team. Connecting with clients and streamlining systems are two critical areas where she excels.
Autumn has returned home to the PNW after living all over the USA, from California to Alaska and North Carolina to Ohio. Her passions include exploring, international and local adventure, family, and learning. She is currently a student at UW and a brand-new homeowner. Autumn is the first to remind others that it is never too late to pursue your dream.

Mike joined our team in September 2024, bringing over a decade of experience in marketing, copywriting, and entrepreneurship. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a freelance marketer and copywriter for 11 years. He is also a former business owner, having successfully exited a boutique hotel he and his wife built from the ground up, giving him unique insight into the real-world challenges and pain points facing our clients.
Mike holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Washington and a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from Western Governor's University.
What does he love most about her job?
"I enjoy guiding prospective clients through the discovery process to learn about their business, goals and financial challenges. My role isn't to sell our services but to build service packages that solve business owners' problems. It's all about helping people get the advice they need to succeed, and I love that."
When Mike's not at work...
You'll find him traveling and exploring new places. He lived abroad for 20 years and has a deep appreciation for novel experiences and different cultures. Mike also enjoys playing golf, cycling and watching the Seahawks and Mariners. He and his wife share their home with two dogs and four cats who are incredibly spoiled.

Morgan Bunten joined our team in March 2026 as an Executive Assistant, bringing a strong background in business operations, administrative support, and client coordination. You'll find her spending time with her husband Brad and 12-year-old son Mason. Morgan and her family love sports, travel and staying active, which means they're always at a field, arena or golf course, cheering from the sidelines. At home, life stays fun and a little chaotic thanks to their Great Dane, Charlie.

Mary Pat Mitton is a highly accomplished CPA and our Client Accounting Services Director. She provides Financial Planning and Analysis, business advisory, and tax services to our valued business clients. Mary Pat holds degrees from Seattle University and Central Washington University. Before joining our team, she owned her own business and worked in the accounting department for several local businesses.
Mary Pat's unique background includes formal accounting training, a 15-year teaching career, and experience running a small business. This diverse experience allows her to understand business owners' needs and present complex accounting concepts in an easy-to-understand manner. Outside of work, she enjoys entertaining family and friends, flower farming, solving all manner of puzzles, and reading mystery books.
Sundus joined our team in July 2017 and brings nine plus years of experience in accounting, tax, and bookkeeping to the firm. She has built her career around supporting clients with their financial needs, with a strong focus on client service, problem-solving, and delivering practical solutions. Her work includes helping clients navigate tax, accounting, and financial challenges with clarity and confidence.
In her role as a CAS Senior Accountant, Sundus focuses on building strong, long-term relationships with clients by treating them as trusted partners. She is known for her communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to understand each client’s unique situation. Her approach centers on delivering accurate work while helping clients feel supported and understood.
Sundus holds an Associate Degree in Accounting from Westchester Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Pace University (Pleasantville), and a Master of Science in Taxation from the University of New Haven. She is also QuickBooks Certified in both Desktop and Online.

As IT Director and Senior Accountant, Sandi specializes in accounting system integration, sales tax, inventory, and accounting processes, combining deep technical knowledge with a practical understanding of how systems and workflows impact clients and internal teams.
Sandi is an Enrolled Agent with the IRS whose unique blend of accounting expertise and technical systems knowledge allows her to design and implement efficient, scalable IT processes that support both client needs and firm operations.
In addition to her technical expertise, Sandi is known for her problem-solving skills and focus on process improvement. Her thoughtful, client-first mindset leads to consistently identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, improve accuracy and enhance the overall client experience.

Angela joined the team in July 2007. She supporting both Client Accounting Services and manages firm's internal billing operations. With 19 years of experience, Angela brings deep expertise in financial reporting, tax preparation, and advisory support for early- to mid-stage businesses, while also keeping the firm's own operations running behind the scenes.
Angela holds a degree in Business Management and Accounting from Central Washington University and has been a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor since 2009. She spent six years as the firm's primary point of contact for clients, a role that sharpened her ability to build lasting relationships through clear communication and timely problem solving. Known for her eye for detail and her talent for turning messy books into clean, accurate financials, Angela works closely with the tax and advisory teams to ensure every client's numbers are not just accurate but more importantly, meaningful.

You'll find her on a softball field coaching a 12U team alongside her husband. Three of their four kids play, including one at the college level. At home, she's likely in her garden or working on a canvas, with a passion for oil, acrylic, and watercolor painting. When her family isn't at a tournament, they're out hiking or camping.

Lara joined our team in January 2013 and brings over 12 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll. She has a well-rounded entrepreneurial background, having first run her own chiropractic practice where she also managed the bookkeeping and payroll. She later expanded into accounting by operating a bookkeeping and payroll business alongside the family CPA tax and advisory firm, giving her a strong foundation in both operations and client service.
In her role as a CAS Accountant, Lara combines strong technical skills with a genuine passion for working directly with clients. She is known for her ability to build trust, communicate clearly, and provide hands-on support. You'll find her teaching Body Pump group exercise classes, something she has done three times a week for the past 17 years. She enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, reading, and gardening. She has been married for 31 years and loves spending time with her two sons.

She is also Microsoft Excel Certified and brings a strong technical foundation to her role. Around here, Rilee's nickname is the Clean-up Queen, because she loves taking messy or incomplete books and turning them into something clean, accurate, and usable. She also enjoys working with startups and new business owners, as it gives her the opportunity to train clients and help them understand what's happening in their accounting, even if they are not the ones doing the day-to-day work.

You'll find her spending time with her husband and two kids, camping as often as possible from late spring through early fall, always in a tent! She is a firm believer that tent camping is the only real kind of camping. Rilee also enjoys baking, crocheting, cleaning, reading, and consuming impressive quantities of coffee. Fun fact: Rilee orders mac & cheese every meal out if it's on the menu, no matter how fancy the restaurant.

Hillary supports our Client Accounting Services Team. After attending Seattle Central, she gained valuable and varied accounting experience working for construction, manufacturing and wholesale businesses. Her passion for problem solving makes her a great fit at an accounting firm. She finds it incredibly rewarding to be able to help multiple clients at the same time.

Danielle joined our team in January 2022 and brings four years of experience in accounting and advisory services. With a background in education, she approaches her work with a people-first mindset, believing that strong financial guidance starts with trust, understanding, and meeting clients where they are. Danielle focuses on supporting the person behind the numbers and helping clients build a foundation that allows them to thrive.

Jenn joined our team in June 2020, bringing over 20 years of experience supporting small businesses with bookkeeping, accounting, and operational management, primarily in the construction and small boat commercial fishing industries. She graduated from the Non-Profit Arts Management Program at Seattle Central College before launching her accounting career.
Jenn's background has made her a strong independent problem solver with a deep understanding that every set of books is unique. She focuses on helping clients maintain accurate systems and navigate compliance with confidence. "I get the most gratification out of my job when I can help independent business owners feel less stressed and mystified by a system that's incredibly difficult to navigate. I take particular pride in being a sales and B&O tax sherpa, and helping business owners avoid unpleasant surprises down the road by ensuring their systems are running correctly from the get-go. I feel the best about the work I do seeing the stress leaving a client's body when they know I've got things covered."
When Jenn is not at work...
You'll find her spending quality time with friends in the great outdoors or exploring the nearest forest. She also enjoys creating portraits of her pets using colored pencil, acrylic paint, and occasionally clay. Her home includes one dog in each size (tiny, medium, large) and one enormous cat.

You'll find her enjoying an active and adventurous lifestyle, including riding her Harley Davidson, camping, and off-roading. She also enjoys spending time in Florida and values time with her family as a proud mom of five and grandma to four.
Manny joined our team in April 2008. His accounting and business operations career spans 40+ years across a wide range of roles including bookkeeper, accountant, auditor, controller, secretary/treasurer, and consultant. His experience spans multiple industries, with a strong focus on automobile dealerships, as well as nonprofit organizations, retail, food manufacturing, and restaurant businesses.
Manny brings decades of hands-on experience and a deep understanding of accounting processes across various business types. He is known for his consistency, practical knowledge, and ability to support accurate financial reporting while adapting to the unique needs of each client. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting from the University of the East in Manila, Philippines.

Megan's background working with client-focused online businesses is a fantastic fit for our team, as her attention to detail and communication, relationship-building, problem solving and organizational skills help keep things running smoothly. After taking time away from the workforce to raise her children, she returned to the profession during tax season to support the firm’s tax team. Her background in taxation gives her a solid foundation for assisting with tax return preparation and related seasonal workflow. She holds an undergraduate degree in accounting from The Ohio State University.
In her role on the tax team, Chris supports tax season preparation work and contributes to the accurate and timely completion of returns. Her prior background in corporate, partnership, and individual taxation helps her bring consistency, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of tax preparation processes to the team.

Carlos joined our team in June 2025, bringing three years of experience working in tax and accounting roles, with a strong focus on payroll taxes, individual tax returns, and corporate tax compliance. His background includes handling multi-state payroll tax filings, resolving discrepancies, ensuring accurate and timely submissions, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Carlos holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Universidad Popular de Cesar.
